Happi's Website!!!
Welcome to my Website! I am a Doctoral student in the Department of Urban Planning at UCLA. My major field of study is in Regional and International Development with a geographical emphasis in the Francophone Africa .
I was born in Douala, Cameroon, lived in Togo where I completed a "Maîtrise Ès Sciences Juridiques en Droit de l'Environement" (Master's of Arts in Environmental Law) in the 'Faculté de Droit', at the 'Université du Benin' in Lomé. I moved to Los Angeles four years ago and have been attending UCLA since then.
My primary focus is on economic development and the environment. Other topics such as trade, globalization, rural development, economic and social justice, are of great interest to me. I am currently doing research on corruption in Cameroon and how it impacts the ongoing wave of privatization of state owned enterprises.
