Former Consul General of Canada Colin Robertson

A native of Winnipeg, Colin Robertson is now with the public advocacy and legislative secretariat at the Canadian Embassy. He was the former Consul General in Los Angeles and was responsible for Canadian interests in California, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and Hawaii; and Consulates in San Jose and San Francisco. He has served at the Permanent Mission to Canada at the United Nations and the Consulate General in New York. He was a member of the team that negotiated the Free Trade Agreement with the United States and later was Coordinator of the NAFTA implementing legislation and the Canadian NAFTA Communications Coordinator.
