The School of Public Affairs was created in 1994. The School's three outstanding departments - Social Welfare, Public Policy, and Urban Planning - each offer an excellent professional program that contributes in significant ways to solving problems across boundaries.

After core courses in Microeconomics, Policy Analysis, Political Institutions, and Public Management, students then choose areas of concentration:
